I pursued degrees in English and Journalism and Mass Communications with a minor in Psychology. I have taken classes that have helped to build my writing, editing, and video making skills, while maintaining a Dean's List Scholar standing. I am also heavily involved in WRGW District Radio as a Co-Host and The GW Local as an editor/reporter.
In high school, I was an International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme graduate, with a 4.2 weighted GPA. I was also President of the French Club, Creative Director of the JTH Chronicle (school newspaper), an IB representative for the school, and a participant in NC Mock Trial.
Created marketing and event flyers. Assisted in putting on performances, attending meetings, and creating marketing plans for upcoming shows.
Created weekly labor finance reports and presented the results to management. Organized and prioritized work to complete assignments in a timely, efficient manner. Trained new employees.
I was tasked with helping to recommend, select, and help locate or obtain merchandise based on customer needs and desires. I opened and closed cash registers, performed tasks such as counting money, separating charge slips, coupons, and vouchers, balancing cash drawers, and making deposits.
