About Me

My name is Rachel Hersilia Garton, and I am a 22-year-old media creative who just finished a bachelors degree at the George Washington University. I graduated in December 2023, with a degree in both Journalism and English.

I am an active participant in multiple student organizations, including the GW Local, the Alpha Delta Phi Literary Society, and WRGW District Radio, where I nourish my love for all things media-related. I am working my way through school while maintaining a 3.76 GPA, with a position as an Administrative Assistant at the Student Org Finance Desk. I have also completed a marketing internship at Cape Fear Community College.
 

In my free time I enjoy reading, drawing, and photography. I run a successful book blog on goodreads, where I have amassed nearly 800 friends/followers, and enjoy reading/reviewing Advanced Readers' Copies of books.
